Fixer; Textile/Loom

We are seeking a skilled Fixer to join our team. The Fixer plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and functionality of our equipment, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to fabricate and repair equipment. Responsibilities:

– Fabricate and repair equipment as needed
– Conduct quality inspections to ensure all equipment is in good working order
– Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures
– Operate machinery and tools such as pallet jacks and machining equipment
– Utilize materials handling skills to manage inventory and supply chain logistics
– Package and label products as needed
– Collaborate with production team to identify and address equipment issues
– Implement Lean manufacturing principles to optimize equipment usage and reduce waste
– Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address equipment failures

Experience:

– 1 year experience BUT WILLING TO TRAIN QUALIFIED APPLICANTS
– Experience with fabricating and repairing equipment
– Proficiency in screen printing and sewing machine operation
– Experience with quality inspection and testing procedures
– Familiarity with machining equipment
– Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
