Knitter

We are seeking a skilled Knitter to join our team. As a Knitter, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, hand-knitted garments and accessories. The ideal candidate will have a passion for knitting, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Duties:
– Create high-quality, hand-knitted garments and accessories using various yarns and knitting techniques.
– Read and interpret patterns, and make adjustments as necessary to achieve the desired outcome.
– Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of yarns, their properties, and how to use them effectively.
– Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all materials and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
– Collaborate with designers to create custom patterns and designs.
– Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet the company’s standards.
– Assist in the creation of patterns and designs for new products.
– Keep up-to-date with the latest knitting trends and techniques.

Qualifications:
– Proficiency in knitting, with the ability to create a wide range of garments and accessories.
– Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
– Experience with various yarns and their properties.
– Ability to read and interpret patterns, and make adjustments as necessary.
– Familiarity with knitting software or apps.
– Experience with sewing and other textile techniques.
– Excellent organizational skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
– Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with designers and other team members.
