Seeking an experienced Insider Upholsterer. Must have an updated resume for consideration.
Must have experience using the following equipment:
- Pneumatic staple guns
- Hand tools
- Specialized alignment tools and techniques
Key Responsibilities
- Apply padding, dacron, and foam to inner arms, backs, and seats on wood frames.
- Stretch, align, and secure fabric or leather smoothly without wrinkles or sagging.
- Execute precise alignment techniques including 4-way matching, pattern matching, line matching, and tufting.
- Read and interpret production tickets, work orders, and specification sheets.
- Operate pneumatic staple guns, air tools, shears, and other specialized hand tools.
- Inspect finished internal work for quality, symmetry, and flawlessness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Proven experience as an inside upholsterer in a furniture manufacturing environment.
- Ability to match patterns, handle stripes, and perform spot/line matching.
- Strong hand-eye coordination, physical dexterity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long shifts, bend, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs
