Job Description

Seeking an experienced Burlapper. Must have an updated resume to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Application: Measure, cut, and stretch burlap over seat springs, webbing, and inner frames.
  • Tool Operation: Use pneumatic staple guns, tack hammers, and shears to fasten and trim fabric securely.
  • Quality Prep: Ensure padding and springs are evenly covered to create a smooth, durable foundation for the upholsterer.
  • Efficiency: Keep pace with production line quotas while maintaining high structural standards.
Job Requirements
  • Experience: Previous background in furniture manufacturing, production, or basic upholstery.
  • Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long shifts (8–9 hours) and lift heavy furniture components.
  • Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and comfort using pneumatic hand tools
